Equipment must suit the bike
Motorcycles vary in weight, wheelbase, ground clearance, bodywork, and approved tie-down points. The bike must be loaded and secured with equipment appropriate to its design; availability of that equipment must be confirmed before dispatch.
Disclose damage and modifications
Crash damage, locked steering, missing wheels, hard luggage, custom paint, or a lowered suspension can change the handling plan. State whether the motorcycle rolls and whether keys are present.
Choose a receiving location
Give the full destination and any gate or after-hours instructions. Ask how the bike will be loaded, who will receive it, and what the quote covers. Do not ride a bike that is unsafe merely to move it closer to a pickup point.
