A flatbed is not one-size-fits-all. Size, weight, ride height, drivetrain, damage, and wheel movement affect the deck, loading equipment, and securement plan.

The carrier must reach the vehicle and have room to lower its deck. Garages, steep slopes, tight lots, overhead obstacles, and traffic can change the approach or rule out a standard pickup.
